one for the catalogue, ink from a few years back.....

this is ink on paper in a mini moleskine. drawn from an airline magazine i found on a flight back from chicago after my grandfathers' funeral. i wasn't allowed to sit with my wife and kids, and it was a pretty awful experience, drawing this was my coping mechanism. go figure.

here's a painting circa 2004. paint on plywood. it's a chicken......no, i don't know why.

i made this collage in maybe 2004, 2005. i put it together for the front sleeve of my work binder. i see it every day i go to work. it has sat in the sun, been caked with sawdust, wrinkled, etc. i still can't bring myself to replace it........

oh my god! something new!

well, i know it's been awhile, but i'm starting back up again. for real, this time! i drew this yesterday at my docent training for the art in action program at my son's elementary school. i teach classes every couple weeks, and we have to get thru a yearly training where we learn the lessons first before we can teach them. i drew this with oil pastels on newspaper in between projects. what fun!
